Evangeline Cafe is located at 8106 Brodie Lane, That's a mile south of William Cannon on the west side of the road in a little strip center called Brodie Plaza. Serving Austin's most authentic cajun food, and our best American roots music available in this town, just look at the names on the left side of this page to see who plays here. Check out the menu and music schedule at www.evangelinecafe.com. Curtis Clarke opened this place in Sept. 2003. After 27 years in the food and beverage business and being from Lake Charles, LA. Seeing a need for some real authentic Southwest LA. food, I said to myself, I said "Do It, If you don't you'll never know." Having moved here in the first place for the music, and had a club in Lake Charles doing music that just kinda happened here. It's great to have friends that'll come into this little room down here in SW Austin to play. We're having fun!
