Jess Klein Performs at Flipnotics

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Jess Klein will be bringing her bluesy folk stylings to Flipnotics in Austin on December 3, 2008 at 8pm. Klein has recently returned home after touring the UK and Ireland supporting Erin McKeown.

A former New Yorker and career artist, Klein relocated to Austin, TX in summer 2008 to gather inspiration and work on new material for her seventh studio album expected out in 2009. Jess Klein’s career spans back to her emergence from the Boston music scene in 1998 with her independent release, Wishes Well Disguised, but it was her 2000 release of Draw Them Near and 2005’s Strawberry Lover that would capture the attention of critics and fans worldwide. Klein has toured the U.S., UK and Japan with the likes of 10,000 Maniacs, Jill Sobule and Luka Bloom.
