Hickory Street
800 Congress Ave (map) (512) 477-8968
Hickory Street, 800 Congress Ave at the NW corner of 8th & Congress, is recently renovated and is now open again. The new menu has been created by Chef Camden Stuerzenberger, formerly of Bess, Walton’s and South Congress Café, with an emphasis on fresh and healthy menu creations.
The reimagined patio, with its giant herb garden as the focal point, has been uncovered and now boasts amazing nighttime views of the State and Paramount Theaters as well as the Austin skyline. Daily Happy Hour and drink specials and the amazing new menu make Hickory Street the perfect spot for an office lunch, after work Happy Hour get together, or a fun-filled evening in the heart of downtown Austin.
