The Palmer Events Center, an award-winning 131,000 square foot multi-use events center, is situated in a natuaral park setting, alongside Town Lake in downtown Austin. The festive new center suggests a “pavillion in the park” with its asymmetrical shade roof extending far beyond the exterior walls, creating a generous wrap-around terrace. Second story balconies offer some of the best views of the Austin skyline and Town Lake. The PEC houses two exhibition halls, spacious lobbies, meeting rooms, pre-function space and extnesive support areas. The facility is being used for public consumer shows, trade shows, conferences, receptions, banquets, concerts, society balls, dances and sporting events. PARKING: Palmer Event Center parking garage is adjacent to the PEC, with entrances on Barton Springs Rd. and Riverside.
