Named for Stephen Fuller Austin, the state’s iron-willed founder, Stephen F’s Bar & Terrace is sophisticated and clubby with a light Texas touch. A mounted longhorn over the hand-tooled leather bar, cowhide barstools and comfy, overstuffed chairs set the tone for an extensive martini menu and wine list. Located on the hotel’s second floor, it has the only outdoor terrace on Congress Avenue – perfect for taking in views of the Texas Capitol and cheering on the occasional parade.
