Taverna is a neighborhood restaurant offering both authentic Italian fare and contemporary cutting-edge Italian cuisine in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. A variety of exquisite Risottos such as Parmesan Cheese & Truffle Oil and Risotto di Mare, featuring a mélange of fresh seafood, are served nightly. Our Risottos are made with Carnaroli Rice, which is considered the best rice for risotto because of its richness.
Taverna features an authentic pizzaiolo from Italy to man the pizza oven. Pizzaiolo is a designation and special honor Italian chefs achieve after extensive training in the making of pizza. A pizzaiolo makes all his pizza crusts from scratch and by hand and never uses a rolling pin on the dough. Our elaborate selection of ultra-thin crispy crust pizzas include traditional Italian and Taverna’s own signature creations.
Nightly entrée selections might include Pan Seared Sea Bass or Tagliata di Manzo, a beef filet thinly sliced and topped with olive oil, arugula and lemon.
