Frontman Troupe Gammage has been recording music since age 11. On this very special evening, a tribute to the legend, Nina Simone, will take place in front of a limited audience. On this date, she will have turned 77. The doors will open at 6pm and the first performance will begin at 7pm. A “dress to impress” style is preferred but not required. Seven carefully chosen artists from the Austin area will pay tribute to the High Priestess of Soul. This very intimate evening will captivate you with performances by Pamela Hart, Akina Adderley, Kat Edmonson, Blues Mafia, Corrina's Dreamland Band, Chandra Washington, and Bryce Clifford. Each performance will bring a different style of music to the night. (Although different in style, they all share something very important, in common.) That is, that they have all been influenced by Nina Simone and they each have a very special place in their hearts for her.
