Trophys is the premier dive club in South Austin, Texas. It hosts a variety of music every night of the week ranging from punk / rock / indie / shoegaze / metal. Tuesdays are the weekly Singer-Songwriter Showcase hosted by Jason Weems and Bill Davis. Sign-ups are at 8pm with music at 9pm. We actually encourage it. We want you to have the best time you possibly can at our club. We can set-up your booze drink for the small price of $1.00. We are a CASH ONLY bar, but will be updated into the 21st century with a credit card machine in the near future. We have a big and nasty backyard deck area where people can drink and smoke and get crazy. We were voted the "best dive club" by the Austin American-Statesman in 2005. Acts that have graced our club include : Spoon, Bad Wizard, Lions, Yuppie Pricks, Honky, Grady, Dixie Witch, Riverboat Gamblers, Amplified Heat, The Black Angels, and many more. Dave Sprauer still owns the bar and Matt Drenik is the talent buyer. Some major renevations are in store for September 2006. The club will be changing.
