Michael Jastroch began his comedy career as editor ʻnʼ chief of NYUʼs only intentionally funny publication, The Plague. While living in New Orleans, Michael wrote and performed sketch comedy and improv with Trap Doors, ColdTowne, and ComedySportz. Michael has continued to write and perform with ColdTowne while in Austin, winning several awards for his improv including “Best Comedy Group 2008” in the Austin Chronicle Reader’s poll and the B. Iden Payne award for “Outstanding Improv Ensemble.” Michael is a regular cast member of the all-star long form improv show Stool Pigeon as well as the Harold group, the Smoking Arm.
