Ghostwriter

Steve Schecter has performed as the one-man-twisted-roots act Ghostwriter since 2002, and released ten albums on his own End of the West label. Wielding primarily a guitar and homemade foot-percussion device, Schecter melds influences spanning country-blues to post-punk, creating a lyrically driven, original portrait of gothic Americana. An intense live performer, through the years, Ghostwriter has shared stages with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, T-Model Ford, Pierced Arrows (Fred & Toody Cole), and Dex Romweber.
