Brunch Buffets in Austin

Buffet culture is a somewhat curious creation.

Brunch is already sacred, but what if the meal became endless and you could fill your plate as much and as often as you wanted? This weekend tradition is a cure-all for hunger and hangovers alike. With the right combination of breakfast, lunch, and lots of drinks - anything is possible. This list will give you the deets on some of our favorite brunch buffets to hit in Austin

Jack Allen's Kitchen

7720 W Highway 71

If you need a little encouragement or a reason to explore the food line, a solid benefit to dining at this buffet is being introduced to new, foreign things you may have never tried otherwise. Fried pork and chicken, migas, jambalaya, silver dollar pancakes and more, all at a reasonable cost. Jack Allen's is a true farm-to-table restaurant with a brunch buffet that means serious business. Come hungry, leave in need of a nap.

Stubb's

801 Red River Street

Gospel Brunch and build your own Bloody Mary bar? Hallelujah! Brunch here is like a party in itself. Stubb’s has a ridiculously large menu of morning bbq crowd-pleasers, so anyone you’re dining with will be able to find something they want to get after. Brunchers have the pleasure of Southern-style grits, migas, fried catfish, and BBQ brisket. You may need to move your belt out a notch.

Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill

303 Red River St

There is something about brunch that makes us feel like our best selves, even when we’re quite literally the opposite. Forget the "no carbs" thing for one day and scoop yourself a hearty spoonful of chili homemade mac 'n' cheese. Moonshine isn’t your typical menu, think of comfort food with a twist and the perfect starting point for a half speed day with the gang. We’d pay a cover charge for the smell alone.

Osteria Pronto

110 E. Second St.

No matter how late you hit the sheets last night, rest easy! You haven't wasted your day because brunch will still be there when you wake up. From Flank Steak and Eggs to Pecan & Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, Osteria Pronto’s breakfast buffet is something you do not want to miss. The best part? You don’t have to clean up after yourself.

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa

 8212 Barton Creek Club Drive

The Omni is a great spot to treat out-of-towners, but you also don’t need visitors to justify a meal here. Somewhere between the hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and hot cakes, you’ll feel right at home. Open daily for a breakfast-y brunch buffet, enjoy the art of omelets and other classic favorites at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa.

Fonda San Migue

2330 W North Loop Blvd

Austin is still hurting from the loss of Fonda San Miguel founder Miguel Ravago. The fearless chef and restauranteur changed the face of Mexican fine dining in Austin and beyond, and this brunch is one of the reasons why. As their own website proudly boasts, "The Fonda San Miguel Brunch contains a sumptuous variety of dishes ranging from the more traditional to exciting takes on ancient recipes." Stop by Fonda San Miguel for their brunch and see for yourself.
