Places for Rosé All Day

In a city populated by motivated and hardworking people, there's a certain adage that remains especially true: Bitch a little, wine a lot.

So it goes without saying that among all the other wines, Rosé is a drink that people in Austin like to enjoy with great frequency. In fact, with such a large demand, it’s easy to find a glass just about anywhere in town. But don’t settle for Olive Garden and steer clear of the bag of Franzia at the corner store. We’re here to assist you in your well-deserved desires; here are our highlighted rosé-consumption destinations in Austin.

Kitty Cohen's

2211 Webberville Road

Kitty Cohen’s is a retro-vibed, 1970’s-themed spot as original as its name, and inspired by the rebel women in all of our lives. The kitschy patio bar is located in East Austin with a Palm Springs, Cali vibe. Kitty’s has a lot to offer, including Tarot Card readings, and weekly vintage dance parties. The beachy vibe is evident with palm trees, twinkle lights, a knee-deep wading pool, their famous flamingo-adorned bathrooms, and yes, oodles of Rosés just waiting for you. They even have FROSE (yes, frozen rosé).

Justine's

4710 East 5th

Justine's, (and by extension their elegant patio), is the kind of place where you can sip a vintage champagne or a fancy rosé and snack on Escargots à la Bourguignonne, all while wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and cowboy boots. That is to say, it's a prime time example of what makes living in Austin, Texas awesome.

Mattie's at Green Pastures

811 W Live Oak St

Your won't believe a town home (proudly) to hippies and live music could also produce such an elegant gem as Mattie's at Green Pastures. That's the magic of Austin, folks. Get whisked out to this 19th-century home nestled among fields of green, ancient oak trees, and (seriously) peacocks. The menu has something for every palate too, from cheese plates to fried chicken to smoked duck breast. Wash it all down with a bottle of rosé.

Pool Burger

3215 Lake Austin Blvd

Pool Burger is located next to Deep Eddy Pool and combines a hole in the wall vibe with a tiki bar experience. Its casual atmosphere provides the perfect spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a beachy meal. After taking a dip in Deep Eddy, hop on out and try the classic Hippy Burger - a veggie burger renowned for its juicy deliciousness! If their strong cocktails sound a little too much, opt for their rosé options and enjoy the tropical environment.

Lenoir

1807 S. 1st St.

Lenoir is the all-natural of wine bars in Austin. On top of exclusively sourcing from Texas farmers, this Community Supported Restaurant (CSR) reinvents the dine-out routine by offering a handful of membership opportunities for prominent customers to garnish their experience throughout visits. If that's not low-key enough for ya, treat yo’ self to local and internationally-curated Rosés in their elegant Wine Garden.

Native Hostel

807 E 4th St

Boutique destination Native Hostel is one of our favorite places to post up and stay awhile - as overnight guests or just at the bar. With plenty of rustic-chic ambiance, this hostel is a darn good place to hang out. Grab some vegan hot chik’n from onsite food truck Big Hots and sip on some Rosé.
