Craving hibachi but not in the mood to leave the house? J’s Hibachi Food Truck has got you covered. By picking up J’s, you can enjoy delicious Japanese grilling from the comfort of your couch. Our favorite is the Filet Mignon And Shrimp Plate which comes with Filet Mignon, Shrimp, side of veggies (broccoli, zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, and onions) and white or fried rice. Hibachi food trucks are one of the best things to happen to the Austin food scene. Highway Hibachi is one of our recent favorites, with their truck on South 1st where you can place your order, or just order it right to your door. Their food is always cooked fresh, offering classic hibachi faves as well as some fun options you won't find other places, like their hibachi burrito.

Listen, we know this is a well-known chain, and it's technically not hibachi, but we are lucky to have one here in town! Known for introducing the yakiniku style grill to the states, Gyu-Kaku lets you in on the fun by guiding you through cooking your food at your table’s personal Japanese BBQ pit. If you're really hungry, go for one of their premium "All You Can Eat" options, starting at $50. They also have some great lunch deals for less than $20!
