Finally - the birds are chirping and the temps are rising!

Butler Pitch & Putt

201 Lee Barton Dr

Did you know there's a 9-hole, par 3 pitch and putt right in the middle of downtown Austin? Get your cutest golf attire on and head to Butler Pitch & Putt for your next daytime date this Spring. Soak up the sun, admire the skyline, practice your short game, and sip on some cold ones with your favorite person. It can get extra busy, especially when Austin's beautiful spring weather is showing off, but luckily you can check their live courtyard cam to see how busy they are. Don't worry if there is a wait, there's plenty to keep you busy until your tee time (food trucks, drinks, yard games). Oh and the best part? They are dog-friendly so your pup doesn't have to miss out!

First Light Books

4300 Speedway

Before the brutal summer comes, we try to find any excuse to be outside. For the studious couple, head to First Light Books to pick out something new to read on their outdoor patio. You can grab some coffees, snacks, and even wine at the cafe inside to enjoy with your new novel. When you're done, walk around the oh-so romantic Hyde Park and visit some favorite spots like Tiny Grocer, Quack's 43rd Street Bakery, or Uncle Nicky's

Cidercade

600 East Riverside Dr

As we know, April showers bring May flowers, so we can't leave you hanging without any indoor options! Cidercade is the ideal date spot, rain or shine. Inside, you can duel your partner to over 150 arcade games all while trying out dozens of hard ciders and seltzers. Once your hands are sore from playing too much pinball, you can order some pizza and wings and enjoy them out on their spacious, lakefront patio (if the weather allows). Cidercade is kid-friendly during the day, but strictly 18+ at 9pm.and open until 12am every night!

Picnic at Zilker Park

2207 Lou Neff Rd

Zilker Park is really the life of Central Austin’s outdoor scene. From great views of the Austin Skyline to playing with your pups, this park is the perfect scene to bring that special someone. With many amenities offered such as picnic sites, a disc golf course, and volleyball courts, there’s plenty to do to set the right mood. Grab a bite from your favorite Austin restaurant or bring out that rusty frisbee and let the city be your backdrop for the perfect smooch. We recommend picking up a cheese & charcuterie tray from Antonelli's Cheese Shop

Texas Rowing Center

1541 W Cesar Chavez St

We all know how hot Texas is (even in spring) so in order to endure the scorching sun rays, the Texas Rowing Center is the place for you and your date to be. Meet up on Lady Bird Lake and rent a stand-up paddleboard, kayak, or canoe and enjoy the fresh water right in Central Austin. We hear accidentally falling in the water is charming! Sign the waiver in advance to save time at the dock.
