Every year, ACL Music Festival assembles a great many talented bands into Zilker Park for two weekends of live music.
All of those notable music makers corralled into one spot makes for the perfect opportunity to ask some out-of-left-field questions. Strange Inquiry at Weekend two of ACL Music Fest continued our proud tradition of asking bands really weird questions and getting even weirder answers. Read our interview with Blue Healer below.
UPDATE:
Blue Healer have an album release show at Parish on Thursday, October 27th. Grab tickets to it here.
Do512: What do you wish was more popular?
Blue Healer: Breakfast tacos. Them coming to New York would be good. We always make the classic mistake on tour of trying to get tacos or Mexican food anywhere outside of Texas. You know you shouldn't do that shit at all, but you do because you want it to work out so bad. It never does. Especially Fayetteville, Arkansas, is not the place to get tacos. They were very weird.
What's the dumbest way you've ever hurt yourself?
Blue Healer: When I was young, probably four, I was running around with a paper bag on my head. I fell and hit the corner of a cabinet and it bled everywhere.
What's the best compliment you've ever received?
Blue Healer: One time somebody told me I looked like Tom Brady's cousin.
If someone was writing the Blue Healer biography, what would this chapter be called?
Blue Healer: "Total Immersion". We're here now, we've arrived on the scene.
