SFC Farmers' Market (Saturdays)
4715 S Lamar Blvd #101A
At the top of this delicious list is our favorite bagel spot here at Do512, Casper Fermentables. They have some of the best bagels and homemade cream cheese in the city, and you can conveniently catch them at the SFC Farmer's Market or their brick & mortar down south. (Pro-tip: stock up on their kombucha, kimchi, and baked goods while you're there, too.) We'll see you in line.

Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller (Sundays)
Another farmers' market bagel not to be missed is David Doughie's. Not only do they consistently have the longest line at the farmers' market, but they were also recently named Austin Monthly's "Best Bagel" in Austin. You can taste the love that's put into these New York(ish) style bagels, as they are made with locally sourced organic, heirloom grains, rolled by hand, and then aged for two days. If you want to beat the lines, we recommend pre-ordering on Mondays at 12 PM.

The only thing better than this bagel spot's adorably anxious mascot is the hot, fresh bagels. Nervous Charlie's bagels are made in Austin with ingredients shipped from New York - a recipe for unmatched authenticity and freshness. On a busy weekend morning, you can often find owners Chris and Ali cheerfully manning the counter and serving up bagel sandwiches, vegan cream cheese options, and all of your classic favorites. Check their Instagram for updates on their new Cedar Park location opening soon!

Wholy Bagel's bagels are made 100% from scratch in an Italian bread oven, so it’s no surprise you could be greeted with a ‘Sold Out’ sign if you arrive late. You can get all kinds of bagels and sandwiches but the Everything Bagel with Nova Lox, equipped with poppy seeds, minced garlic & onion, and pretzel salt topped with red onions, capers, and tomatoes is the real winner here.

You know the saying, “if it ain’t’ broke, don’t fix it?” Rosen’s Bagels didn’t listen and we’re all better for it. This restaurant is elevating their schmears from classic hits to modern bops - with flavors like caramelized shallot and bacon, basil & lime, blueberry, and maple syrup almond, the traditional gets a makeover worth eating. You can find them at several coffee shops around town, through delivery, or at one of their brick and mortars!
1900 Rosewood Ave
This infamous Eastside joint is perhaps the best known and best-loved bagel spot in all of Austin. You can find their mouth-watering bagels in more than 50 places around town, like Mozart’s, Bennu Coffee, and Wheatsville Co-op, but their little window at their home base is the most authentic experience - fresh out of the oven, perfectly chewy, and just the right amount of cream cheese.
1603 S Congress Ave
This is where you will come for a bougie and majestic bagel that’ll have you feeling like Marie Antoinette via Sofia Coppola. A loaded everything bagel with salmon, hard-boiled egg, pickled onion, tomato, and caper scallion cream cheese isn’t for the faint of heart. There’s a lot of flavors going on but ignorance is bliss and so is this bagel.
