Mamafesta

Mamafesta is an original groove-rock outfit that was born in the fall of 2011. As afronauts of time and space, Mamafesta has stepped out and begun to share the groove in and around the Austin and San Marcos, TX scene and it is plain to see that they are no strangers to the sound. The band includes Zack Morgan on keys, saxophone, songwriting and vocals and Lowell Carrico on guitar, lead vocals and songwriting. Holding down the rhythm section is Vince Seidl on drums and Logan Dance on the bass and vocals. Together these four talented musicians create a high-energy wave of sound that entices and evokes the spirit of the soul. Mamafesta’s main concern is in holding onto the roots and keeping music real.
