Brisket Does Austin!

Once upon a time...

This sad, few-weeks-old, flea-ridden puppy was rescued off Craigslist for the low price of $20.

His first day in the Do512 family consisted of visiting the office during a Lounge Session featuring Black Joe Lewis and The Riverboat Gamblers. Mike Wiebe and co. picked some fleas off the little guy, and we decided it was time to give him a proper name. Naturally, we crowd-sourced a contest on Instagram to see who could come up with the most fitting name for our new furry friend...

The name we chose was ... BRISKET

(Thank you to Instagram user @marymakesdinner for the suggestion!)

Now three and half years later, Brisket is well into his awkward teens and way past due for a good old-fashioned tour of his hometown. So we put together a nice little itinerary of places in Austin that he needed to experience and put paw to pavement.

In honor of National Pet Appreciation Week, (and Brisket's 4th birthday on June 3!) check out our photos from Brisket Does Austin below and be sure to follow his personal Instagram account to see more of his adventures!
