It came into town as another food truck, and now Garbo's has three locations around Austin. Like many other transplants, they found their beloved traditional food missing from the food scene and stepped up to provide. They serve New England Cuisine with an Austin twist, whipping up some of the best lobster rolls in town. You can get a Connecticut Roll (butter-poached Maine lobster topped with their house seasoning, lemon juice, and scallions on a top-split bun), Maine Roll (chilled Maine lobster, mayo, celery, lemon, and house seasoning on a top-split bun), or a seasonal lobster roll.

With a name like Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls you know you're getting the real deal. Their lobster comes straight from the waters of Maine, ensuring you are served the best. With ingredients this fresh, they are able to stick to the basics by serving their rolls with no bells or whistles; just a little lemon, butter, mayo, and celery. They have a few variations of lobster rolls to choose from, but if you're extra hungry you should go for The Bar Harbor, which comes with extra meat from a 1 1/4 lb. lobster (including tail) prepared as any of your favorite Mason's Famous Rolls.
