National Public Radio does a lot of cool things, one of those cool things being their Tiny Desk Concert Series. Basically, it's an opportunity for bands to play an intimately recorded set of songs at the (tiny) desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen. Over the years, some truly amazing sets have been committed to tape.
As you may or may not have heard, NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts Contest recently rounded together submissions from a good deal of Austin musicians. Here are some of our favorite videos submitted from local Austin bands. The winners will be announced on February 12th.
