Look, we're not linguists...
But we're pretty sure the word "charcuterie" is French for "an awesome plate of meats and cheeses and stuff." There's a bevy of inviting places in Austin to get your charcuterie fix, and this little meal is a great way to enjoy a few cocktails or cold beers without having to hit the Whataburger drive-thru on the way home. If you're inexperienced, here are a few places to get your meat and/or cheese fix in Austin.

Mostly known for its cheese (hence the name), Antonelli's also serves up charcuterie which goes great with their many cheese options. You can order a cheese tray with charcuterie that is selected by their cheesemongers to compliment the taste of the cheese (how cool is that?!) They also offer free tastings daily and you can even join their cheese club to get deliveries straight to your door. Make sure you also check out their cheese classes, perfect for date night or just to learn more about different cheeses and try something new!
