Where to Get Poke in Austin

What is poke, anyway?

Well, for starters, poke is Hawaiian for "section" and "slice." But poke is much more than that. It's a delicious, healthy sashimi-based food hailing from The Aloha State. Typically, poke meals feature raw ahi or salmon served in a bowl with a variety of ingredients like cucumber, avocado, jalapenos, and more. Poke is a savory, refreshing dish perfect for healthy lunches and light dinners. Whether you're preparing to hit the waves or just grabbing a quick bite, poke always proves rewarding. Here's where we've found some of the best Poke in Austin.

One of our favorite things about Pokeworks that makes it stand out is the variety of ways you can get your poke. The newest addition to their menu is the Luxe Lobster Bowl, made with delicate North Atlantic lobster, sweet surimi & juicy mandarin orange, fresh-cut veggies, and their signature ponzu sauce.
