Beto and the Fairlanes

Among the elder statesmen of Austin's music scene, Beto and the Fairlanes (also known as Beto y los Fairlanes) has been drawing fans to dance floors since the late '70s with an irresistible dance-party-jam-band sound they call Texas Salsa. Think umbrella drinks, happy hips, horn sections, syncopation...and practice your cha-cha, because you won't be able to sit still when you catch this band's breezy sound. After 36 years together, eight albums and thousands of gigs, Beto and the Fairlanes are still all about having fun while inciting a little tropic frolic.
